Here’s an interesting SpringWise.com article on top 10 business ideas: http://springwise.com/businessideas2010/.  Reading between the lines, major trends groupings from these ideas include: Green, sustainability and organic foods ideas; Personalized health technology metrics reporting; Trial-basis/temporary marketing (consumer “tryvertising” and rotating brands retail stores); and One-to-one marketing and crowd-sourcing advances (such as mobile marketing, individual inventors’/entrepreneurs’ production offerings, and advertising that pays customers).

To my surprise, none of these ideas were social media heavy. Yet the social media revolution continues! RSS readers, such as GoogleReader, continue to grow their integrated offerings of Web 2.0 functionality for mobile devices, increasing “like/tagging/sorting” functionality in reader Mobile Web access for 2010: http://googlereader.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-year-new-mobile-features-and-more.html.
